Hello We are travelling to Orlando using Travel City Direct. We have booked the Flights and Car hire with them but are staying with Cypress Pointe Orlando. :thumbsup2 Does anyone here have any experience with Travel City Direct and could give me any reviews or thoughts on what they are like?:confused3

Hi Joseph,

Never used them but if you use the 'search' facility on here and put in 'TCD' or 'Travel City Direct' you will get plenty of info.

TCD have been discussed at great length on these boards, opinions are 'mixed' on what I have read so far.

hiya
Never had any problems with TCD, used them twice, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Although not as jazzy as Virgin, the flights are fine the accomodation choice brilliant and car hire the usual. Would recommend them to anyone
Thanks
Ali

We used Travel City Direct in 2004, didn't really have any complaints. The villa we had was nice. We did get soaking wet on the plane on the way home, as it had been standing on the runway all night during hurricane Charley. As the doors to the plane closed water poured over us. They did give us a bottle of champagne to say sorry.

We have booked to go with them again in Sept 08, which I wouldn't have done if they were that bad.

As we are staying in a Disney hotel, we were also able to get the Disney Dining Plan free for September 08, which saves a fortune for 6 adults.

Thats awesome news. We are going in September 2008 (:yay: first time:yay: ) also but sadly cannot take advantage of disney dining plan:sad2: as we are staying at Cypress Pointe Resort:) . Have fun!

Thanks everyone for your reviews I am looking forward to it!:cool1:

You will also be flying on either a 767 or a A330, more modern than the two old 747 they had. :cool1:

I have flown with them, they are budget but no worse than Thomsons Brittania or the old First Choice planes (before they went all super dooper upgrades) They get you there, and with me it was on time so no complaints here.
