Travel Channel Reviewed Animal Kingdom Last Night!

Did anyone see the 1 hour show last night (3/26/03)? It was on at 8pm (ET).

I gathered the kids around, popped some corn and we all watched. We learned an awful lot about how Disney created AK. The show just made us wish we were there right then!

It was a great show. I hope you got to see it. Not sure when it will re-air.

I watched it twice in fact. It came on again at 11 and I couldn't resist, I just had to watch it again. I've never been to WDW at all, so it just hyped me up all the more! I've read of some people that say AK is their least favorite park, but I was all choked up watching it. I think the animals are so beautiful. *sigh* I just can't wait to get there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've also watched the one on WDW twice and of course wept.

It is a great show about AK. I just saw your countdown timer and I am green (and not just because I root for Michigan State) with envy. Hope you have a great time.

I saw it and loved it. We stayed @ AKL last April and it made me want to be there . On Sunday @11:30 am (ET), the Travel Channel is doing a show on Yacht & Beach Club which I'll tape for my kids to watch since we'll be staying at BCV in Sept. They seem to be doing more on Disney lately, for awhile we were calling it "The Vegas Channel" I'd much rather watch WDW on TV. It just gives me "The Fever". If you pull up Travel Channel.com and search for Disney, they'll give you a list of upcoming shows, dates & times that will be aired. They also did a show Tuesday night on Sea World - now I want to go there too. My trip budget keeps increasing!

We just got the Travel Channel added to our Cablevision service.
Now I can watch all the travel programs about WDW andDL.
I watched the program twice last night about the 10 best North American Family Hotels. Got a big kick out of seeing the AKL as number one.
