For those of you interested. Just flipping through the Satellite Guide and came across Travel Channel for today.

At 2:30 ET/1:30 CT: YC/BC Great Hotels Episode
At 3:00 ET/2:00 CT: Samantha Brown's Disney Holiday Episode

Tuning in now... I saw the SB's Holiday show about a week ago. As a result, we're going to change up our 2006 plans, skip our regular thanksgiving trip and go with x-mas instead.

The resort has changed so much since they did the YC/BC show. I wish they would do a new one featuring the updates and maybe do a F&W episode. They keep repeating SB episodes I haven't seen a new one lately. They always show a DVC room at WL but she says it has a queen bed instead of a king. I love SB but I am waiting for updated WDW shows before watching them again

I think I have all the Travel Channel shows on tape now. My DH thinks I'm crazy, but it's nice to pop them in now and then. I especially liked the Disney Wedding show that came on the Food Network. I watch that over and over!

I record them all too and break them out every now and then. Always have a few on my PVR (TiVo like thing).

I wish they would do more. So far, Samantha Brown has done these in Great Hotels:
Yacht and Beach Club
Wilderness Lodge
Grand Floridian
Grand Californian

plus the Holiday show.

I'd love to see her do the cruise, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo DisneySeas. I think she did Portofino Bay at USF, didn't she?

Boy, I miss Disney Inside & Out on the Disney Channel. Seems such a shame that Disney owns these parks, these TV channels, and can't get them together that often.

Hang in there! Our cable company just added Travel Channel yesterday. Now I can read these threads & hopefully see the shows, too!
