Travel by car or bus from ASMu?

I think a similiar question was asked last week, but I"ve lost the thread. We're staying at the ASMu in early June(2nd week) and will have my sister's car. I'm wondering which is better, to travel to the parks by car or Disney bus. I'm pretty sure the MK is better by bus, but not sure about the others. We do plan to return to the hotel midday to rest, so maybe one form of transportation is better during different times of day? I've checked the UG times and it seems it may be better to drive to at least MGM, Epcot and the AK in the morning, but not sure about the afternoons...

Parking is free for Disney resort guests, right?

You're correct on all accounts. MK is much easier to take the bus to and from since it cuts out the time of having to take the monorail or boat. All the other parks are equally easy to travel to with your car. The afternoon is actually easier to travel than the mornings or night since most people are already in the parks and not coming or going. You may even be able to get a better parking spot when you return later.

And yes, parking is free for all resort guests.
