From the monorail to the old "people mover", Disney has always made (for me at least) getting there more than half the fun.
We stayed at the Poly last year (what a treat!) without a rental car and truly enjoyed using 3/4 different modes to get to the MK:
Express monorail from the TTC
Resort monorail from the Poly's 2nd floor
Ferry from the TTC (our favorite!)
Launch between Poly-GF-MK
For me discovering the different ways of getting around "the world" is a wonderful adventure . . .
Like the previous post suggested, one AM we took the Monorail to Epcot (we were able to ride in the front section!), did our Space-Test Track dance, then relaxed a bit with a leisurely walk through the World Showcase. Left via the "International Gateway" to Boardwalk. We enjoy that 'scene" too, so we had lunch there.
Then we took one of those "Friendship's" out to MGM and enjoyed the rest of our day there. Then a bus back to the Poly.
It's the Whoop de Dooper Loop de Looper Ali Ooper itinerary!
