Hey everyone, I'm taking my third Disney trip this Sept, first time staying inside Disney so I'm excited. I'm just wondering, is it possible to drive between the resorts for dinner? I saw it posted somewhere you needed your room reservation on hand in order to enter the resort so I wasn't sure if they wouldn't let you visit a resort that wasn't yours or not without taking a bus/monorail over. Thanks for all the info, you guys are great!

They will let you go to another resort to eat. We were just there and had no problems getting into to CSR resort to eat at Pepper Market while we were staying at OKW. They will most likely ask you for ID but thats it.
We did drive to that resort.

Yes you can drive to other resorts. You will get a parking pass at check in to put in your window. If it is a busy time some resorts will limit parking to 3 hours for guest not staying at that hotel. Sometimes the gaurd at the gate will see your resort pass and wave you through, some will stop and ask why you are there, some will want to see a picture ID and question you, in any case as an onsite guest you will be able to park at any resort. The Poly, and CR are the most likely to question and limit you to 3 hours, this is to discourage parking there and going to the MK.

Wow thanks for the quick answers! Also, do I have to pay for parking daily at the resorts?
