Travel bag recommendations, please

I haven't checked a bag in years. Our last trip was 9 days and for 5 of us, we had two of these fully packed, and two kid sized roller bags (also fit under the seat). Our backpacks were stuffed and they fit under the seat on Spirit and United. There isn't a lot of space for your feet, so keep that in mind, but for a few hour flight, it's no big deal for us. If you aren't packing it fully, it will fit under no problem...still not a lot of room for feet, but it will fit.
great!

We purchased a few of these and they are great! I love that it can expand and its very roomy.

SO I just bought something so similiar to this on Amz! Except mine can get taller, and has wheels for dragging thru airport....I love the lightweight feel,my sore shoulder prefers this to my backpack I think.

Do you have an "under the seat" durable tote bag that just love? Would appreciate your recommendations!

I am in need of a new travel bag to use while flying. The Foldie bag keeps popping up on my social media, but I've read the reviews and don't think this is the right one for me. Would love to find something that will last for years - for flying and occasional weekend use. Basic black would be fine as it would get used for both Disney and non-Disney trips, and of course, since this is the Budget Board, would love to find something for a great price! I'm thinking this is the time of year to find coupon codes, right?

TIA!

I’ve tried a bunch of bags for travel. I tried a bunch of different laptop bags, dedicated underseat bags, etc. at the end of the day I preferred a backpack.

A large sack type is my preference if I need to carry clothes. A zip compartment type if I need more organization. They’re light, easy to carry and if you’re lighter for the trip, easy to scrunch up to give myself more legroom.

For reference, I fly 2-3x round trip per month.

I just use an Osprey backpack, I think I have 3 different ones. Different sizes based on how much I want to carry on. That way the backpack is comfortable and decent if I need to take it out at my destination for the day. Many Osprey's have a built in "rain jacket" for your backpack too which is nice if you use it out of the day in your destination. Osprey is pricey but they have a lifetime warranty. I recently had an Osprey very large travel backpack (that was checked luggage) have the strap ripped by airlines. Sent it into Osprey and they repaired for free. If something is not repairable, they will replace it.
