trash and towel day question in studio

On trash and towel day, are we suppose to get more paper plates and bowls that day?


It seems we always get the towels, and most of the time the soaps, but usually have to ask about the coffee and paper plates. I looked at the rules but I don't see anything about the paper plates.

Last trip (a week ago) both at BLT and BCV we had the same issue. After calling about it at BCV, someone must have thought we were opening a Starbucks. We came back to our room and found we were given 8 packs of coffee, a bag with 20 - 30 creamers, sugars, sweet n low, etc, a stack of about 20 plates and 20 bowls. I didn't count them, but the stack was 2 inches thick. We used what we needed and left the rest. We went nothing to waaaayyyyy too many. And of course it all comes out of our dues.

Yes, they should replace those items on trash and towel day.

Guess Disney decided that since they're opening Starbucks everywhere else at WDW, might as well add one on in your villa.

You can get extra paper plates, bowls and paper towels any time you run out. Just call housekeeping. But on T&T and Full Cleaning days those items should be replenished.

Our cleaning schedule was all screwy this month too during our 15 night stay at BLT. Our first cleaning was correct on day four (full cleaning) but then the T&T day happened two days later and a maid ask to clean it again the next day, she was surprised when we turned her down (day 7), it turns out she was the one that cleaned it the day before. We finally placed the Privacy card to keep housekeeping out and only took it off for the last full cleaning day. I kept thinking maybe this is why BLT's housekeeping cost is so high.

You can always pickup additional items at any QS location and bring back to the room.

Some QS locations are not Disney owned. As a contracted vendor to Disney, I don't think that I would like people stocking their hotel rooms with my supplies.

Seems like the better idea might be to just ask housekeeping.
