I think, most likely, it's pretty random. I'm sure it doesn't hurt to be polite though.

I wouldn't go in there begging for a candy cauldron because if I was a host that wouldn't work with me. I can tell you that I didn't ask her for one.

I am upset that I missed Transylvania Trades (and every host trading event, for that matter, due to my previous hiatus earlier this month). I had most of my day scheduled around it, but one of my Chemistry classmates called me early in the morning, asking for my help in a report which is due Monday. And who am I to refuse to help her? So, we spent the entire afternoon working on it together. I'm glad I was of assistance to my friend, but I'm sort of bummed out right now after hearing all the great stuff that was for trade.

So this was the last trading event, eh? *tear* I had my eyes set on the Bride in the Attic pin.
