Hello All,

What is the best way to get from airport to your hotel. We will be staying at the Anaheim Desert Inn. Cost information would be helpful too.

What airport are you traveling to? There are several in the area and I would expect costs to vary depending on which airport is selected.

Buses, taxis/private hire cars, and shared shuttles are the mostly commonly mentioned transportation methods.

There is the Disneyland Resort Express (run by Greyline) that goes from LAX (and SNA) to the DLR area. Note that is not like DME (at WDW); it's not operated or connected to Disneyland.

There is also SuperShuttle that operates at the airports in the region.

The Disneyland website lists some other transportation options:

Traveling to LAX. Going to Desert Inn and Suites.

On a recent trip I used SuperShuttle's shared shuttle option to get from LAX to DLR. It took about 1.5 hours all total; about half was the drive from LAX to DLR and the other half was picking up other passengers at LAX. It wasn't a very quick option, but it was cheap (about $20 with tip).

We used DK livery and paid $95 from LAX (that included tip) for two us. The driver was waiting for us in the baggage pick up area and walked us out to the car. No waiting around for other passengers. We got a 20 minute grocery stop but it was just enough time to grab a couple of things.
We would use this company again.
The car was a Honda Odyssey so I would assume that $95 would have covered more passengers for a family.

I used Lansky to go from LAX to Desert Inn and Suites and back. Had a fantastic experience. There were 6 of us going there, and 7 heading back. I don't remember which leg of the trip cost what, but one way was $95 and the other was $85 for our whole group, and he provided 3 booster seats for the kids who needed them. Also, met us at baggage claim with a luggage cart. We didn't handle our suitcases after we met up with him until he had unloaded them for us at the hotel!

My husband, who flew in seperately, used Karmel. The shared car I believe, though he was the only one. It was $26 from LAX to the hotel.
