Transportation trading cards??

I read on another thread that when you ride the monorail, busses, and the boats, you can ask for trading cards the drivers get to hand out to guests. Is this true and if it is how many are there?

There are 18 cards in all, 12 monorail cards, 3 ferryboats, and 3 bus cards (one of which is under my user name).
