Transportation to Whispering Canyon

Just wondering the best way to get to Whispering Canyon for an 8:00am breakfast if I am staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. Which park should I grab a bus to in order to get the Wilderness Lodge bus? Any advantage on going to MK or Epcot?

WL is closer to the MK, you'd be better off going to the MK, but I am not sure if the buses or boats will be going back to the WL that early. You may have a long wait.
You might find it easier to take a cab from your resort to the WL

Well, I would take the MK bus and then hop on the boat to the WL. There are very early morning buses heading to MK for character breakfasts. Or you might just want to call a cab and not worry about all that hopping off and on buses/boats. Just be sure to start out early enough...if you do the bus route, I would be at your bus stop by 6:45-7, if you go with a cab, then 7:20 should be okay.

The best way is to just drive yourself - or take a taxi. You'll be there in 10 minutes.

At that time in the morning I would either drive or take a taxi. Even if the boat from the MK is running it would take about 30 minutes to get to WL from the MK since the boat will run from MK to FW and then to WL. You would probably need to leave PO by around 7 to get the WL for an 8am breakfast.

The best and easiest is a taxi. But if you want to take WDW transportation:

If MK opens at 9AM that day, be out at the POFQ bus stop at 6:45. Take the MK bus. Tell the driver you have a ressie at CR. He MAY be able to drop you off at the CR. Go down to the marina and take the boat to WL. If he can't, take the monorail from MK to the CR and then boat to WL. The boat from MK to the WL probably will not start until 8. The boat between CR and WL starts at 6:45AM.

If the MK opens at 8AM, the driver will NOT be able to drop you off at the CR.

You might check and see if they still have "breakfast buses". A couple of years ago I was staying at WL and had a breakfast ADR at Fresh at The Dolphin. A day before our breakfast I asked a bus driver what to do. At that time they had morning buses that took you to breakfast. I either took the MGM or Epcot bus at about 7:20 am and told the driver where I was going and he drove me to the front of The Dolphin. We had friends at the All Stars and they did the same thing and we met for breakfast.

In your case a MK bus might drop you off at the WL. As I said, this was my experience a couple of years ago, but I don't know about now. We got to Fresh about 7:35 am.
