Transportation to Universal Studios

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post this but figured it would be moved it not!

We are arriving on 10/4 and are taking the magical express from the airport so we won't have a car. We are thinking of taking one day to go to Universal Studios. Does anyone know the most inexpensive way to do this? There will be 9 of us in total. Does Disney have a shuttle that would take us or does Universal have one that could pick us up?

In the past Mears had a shuttle -- you will need to pay per person you can call and ask or soeone may have done this recently? you can also use a taxi service.
but with 9 I would say you are better off renting 2 cars you can pick them up on Disney property or have them pick you up or drop them off. You can get a small car for a little over 30 with taxes etc. We use Avis I also know Hertz and Budget are options. I am sure there are others.

We did the Mears shuttle in June. I believe it was $18 pp round trip.

We used Mears. You call the day before you want to go. I think its like 12.00 or something per person. They phave different times for drop off and pick up. Its not that bad they pick u up right at your hotel and drop you off there.

WE are a family of 5 and last Jan. when we stayed at OKW we went to Universal two days to do both parks. However we didn't use MEARS. I think it was 20 bucks per person or close to it. Instead we used the car service that we have used for years. It was so nice and convenient and cheaper. If you want information send me a PM. Thanks
