We are coming in a few weeks to Universal using on of the Harry Potter Package. We paid for roundtrip transportation from the airport to Universal and back. I have no information from Universal about our trip except for my initial e:mail statement. Do I need to call them? I am assuming they need flight numbers. Is it Universal transporation or a private company? Does Universal normally send information about packages/trips in the mail like Disney does?

Thanks!!

Hmmm. I haven't heard reports of anyone who had purchased round trip transportation with their package. This is what it says in the package though, "Upon receipt of your official travel itinerary, please call 888-784-2522 or 407-354-2456 to arrange pick-up from Orlando International Airport. "

I'm almost 100 percent certain you have to arrange your own transportation from the airport to the hotel. We bought the Harry Potter package, too.

We've decided that we're just going to grab a cab from the taxi stand at the airport. It seems simpler than trying to arrange something through Mears.

Universal does not send packages in the mail. We were told to print our e-tickets and information and bring them with us.

The only Universal "transportation" I know of is the boat that goes back and forth from the hotels to the parks. Oh, and there are pedicabs that go from hotel to park, too, but I think you're supposed to tip the guy who pulls them. And free hotel shuttles to places like Seaworld, but you have to reserve a seat ahead of time.

HTH!

Wow, that must be new! It sounds great though... did you notice how much it costs?

I think there was a per person charge. $35 for each adult and child over a certain age, I think.

Hello. We'll be staying at HRH in December. Would we be eligible for this service? We did not book a package. We booked our room directly with the toll-free number on the Resorts section of the Universal website and bought park tickets from Maple Leaf. I looked on the Universal website but couldn't find info about this transportation option.

Thank you for any help that you can provide!

No, if you didn't book a package and arrange for transportation at that time, you will need to arrange your own transportation. All this option is, is a taxi/limo service.

I called the number yesterday, and upon arrival to the airport, we are just supposed to walk up to the counter that they have and show them our e:papers to get our transportation. For the return from the hotel, we call and let them know 24 hours in advance so they can schedule a pick-up.
