Transportation to Typhoon Lagoon

I read a while ago that all Disney transportation going to and leaving from Typhoon Lagoon after 2 pm will need to transport at Epcot. Can someone who was recently there confirm that is still the case now?
If that's still true, then what about going from Typhoon Lagoon to Disney Springs? They are so close together that it seems silly if there is not direct bus connecting them.

We'll be using Uber for this on our upcoming trip.

The TL buses do go to DS now. The Epcot transfer was just during the road construction in front of DS, which is pretty much done with.

I talked to CM online last week and they told me that there is no direct bus, so we have to go to other resort and transfer.

As I understand it, from what's been reported here and on various blogs, all buses leaving TL now go to DS, rather than to a resort.

I believe that all resort buses do the stopover to TL first if it is during operating hours and then off to DS.

When we were there last week we took the bus from TL to DS. It was actually very convenient since that's where we wanted to go next!

What we were told was that the buses depart from the resort and go to TL, ONLY UNLOAD people and then go to DS. I said I want to go to DS from TL and was told that I had to go to the resort. Good to know that we don't have to. I hope it stays like that!

Yes, buses do go from TL to DS.

Before 2pm (or maybe it's noon), buses drop off at TL coming from the resorts, as you were told, but you are welcome to get on at TL ... that's how Guests are supposed to get back to their resort. Guests going the other direction, from DS to TL, may have to go to a resort first.

At some time during the day (maybe noon or 2pm), I believe buses from the resorts stop dropping off at TL, and Guests going to TL have to travel to DS & change to a bus to TL. So from then on, buses do run in both directions between DS & TL.
