Transportation to Steam Train tour

We are staying at the wilderness lodge and we have a tour of the magic behind the steam trains. This tour starts at 7:30am. We have to be at the magic kingdom by 7:15am. Does anyone know if the boats or buses run this early? If not, what are my options? Do I have to call for a taxi?

Your best route is to take the boat to the CR (starts at 6:45AM) and then walk to the MK.

I took this tour last february. I stayed at the CBR and took the first bus to MK which was around 6:50am. I got to the tour meeting place, which was just outside the park below the train station, around 7:20. The tour didnt actually start until 7:30. I thought the tour was great. The tour guide was excellent, an older gentlemen that had a hand in starting the tour years ago. I think his name was jay, who does the thursday tours. I cant say that I am a train fanatic but thought everything was fascinating. Also had a couple of railroad worker guests on the tour. Well worth the money.

I've done the tour twice. Both times I was told there is no busses running that early, so we took a cab to CR and walked over from there. Doing it again in June with my nephew will probably do the cab thing again.
