Transportation to Seaworld

We would like to go to Seaworld for a day or 2. Should we rent a car for a few days or take a shuttle? We will be at CSR for 10 days. Where would you rent a car on the property? What shuttle would you take? Also anyone know where to buy seaworld tickets?

You have several options...you can rent a car..about $40 a day, you can take the Orlando transit system aka Lynx bus from TTC which will cost you about $1.50 pp each way and it drops you at the SW parking lot, or you can have a Mears shuttle take you for about $15 (?) pp r/t. You can have a towncar service take you and that's about $50 r/t.

It all depends on what you want to do. If it were me, I think I might just rent a car if you'll be going for two days. You can buy passes for SW on line at their official site or just buy them at the gate when you arrive.

Thanks for the info. I also meant to metnion that there will be 6 of us traveling. Are there places that will rent SUV or minivan in Disney Resort area?

YOU CAN TAKE THE # 50 BUS FROM THE TTC TO SEA WORLD, LEAVING 18 MINUTES AND 48 MINUTES PAST EACH HOUR AND RETURN 9 MINUTES AND 39 MINUTES PAST EACH HOUR. THE SCHEDULE SHOWS THE TRIP TAKES 21 MINUTES GOING TO SW AND 18 MINUTES COMING BACK FROM SW. DON'T KNOW WHY THE DIFFERENCE. THE COST FOR YOU WOULD BE 6 x 3.00 FOR THE ROUND TRIP. YOU WOULD HAVE TO GET TO THE TTC TO CATCH THE BUS. YOU WOULD SAVE ON THE PARKING AT SW TAKING THE LYNX BUS. WEIGH ONE AGAINST THE OTHER AND DECIDE WHICH WOULD BE THE BEST FOR YOU.

Yep, you can rent a car at either the Swan/Dolphin area or from the Car Care Center over by MK. If you rent from the CCC you can call and they will send a shuttle for you, and then do the same in reverse when you are done. Or you can get over to S/D and rent from them.
