Transportation to Sea World?

My whole family (there's 9 of us) will be traveling to WDW in September (first time basically). We are flying in and staying at CBR. We are relying on WDW transportation as we don't really plan on leaving the resort.....except for one day. We want to go to Sea World. What's the best way to get there? We're trying to avoid renting a car, but if that's best, that's what we'll do!! BTW, we have 6 adults (myself and my husband, my brother and sister-in-law and my parents) and 3 kids (ages range from 2-4).

Get to either the TTC or DTD. Take the Lynx #50 bus which is an express that goes between downtown Orlando, Sea World and WDW.

Be sure to have EXACT change Lynx. This is also Public transportation, not Disney, so it is not Magical Just regular people going to work.....Our last bus was so loud with noise of music, yelling, talking, some cussing as well, just regular folks
Its cheap and efficient and for someone not wanting to rent a car, worth it. Not a repeat choice for us though.

I took a cab from Disney's Beach Club Resort. Fifteen minute ride, $23 each way plus tip. Your group is bigger, but you might be able to get a van-size cab if you don't want to take the bus.

I know, I know!!!! I went when I was a kid and loved it! My son loves dolphins! It's just for the day!!!

Oh, I think Sea World is great for pre-school age kids! I am filing this information for later use. It is good to know.

One thing to also remember, the Lynx Bus does not drop you off at the front door to Seaworld. The stop is across the street and a 10 minute or so walk across the parking lot....no biggy really, just good to know in advance. Make sure you ask your bus driver to let you know when to get off for Seaworld

Or try the Mears Shuttle. They will take you door to door.

The fare on Lynx is $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for Juniors 7 - 18, and free for under 7.
