Transportation to Park Soleil

Hello,

I will be staying at Park Soleil for a couple of days then transferring to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for a couple more days before getting on a Disney Cruise Ship. The problem is how to get from place to place. I am afraid that renting a car might be difficult seeing as it would be difficult to return. I really would only need transportation from the airport to Park Soleil, and then transportation from Park Soleil to AKL. Are there any shuttle services, taxis, or, other modes of transportation you can recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would contact the Resort directly. I'm sure they deal with this kind of request all the time and would have a number of options for you. Good luck. We are at the PS in just over 3 weeks!

You can rent a car from National and return it at the dolphin. If your wanting a car for a couple of days we have done this before we stayed at Disneyworld and it was pretty easy. We picked the car up from the airport and then after we checked into the second hotel dropped it off at the dolphin and headed to Epcot. If your going to either Epcot or the Studio park its a quick and easy drop off you just give the key to the valet and get your receipt. Took less time than parking it the day before at the Hotel.

I think renting a car might be easier than you are imagining. That would be my first choice. There is a WDW Car Care center as well as car rentals at the Dolphin and there just might be others nearby. Many hotels have their own rental cars - especially Hilton.

In any case - you can book a Mears shuttle from the airport to Park Soleil and take a taxi to AKL - or if you wanted to save more you could take a taxi to DTD then Disney transport to AKL. For super cheap transport - the Lynx 50 bus runs from outside Park Soleil to DTD and WDW Transportation Center.

Have a great stay and a great cruise - AKL is a favorite of mine! It is such a unique resort!
