Transportation to Logan

We are flying out of Logan for our December vacation. Boy....10 days of parking at Logan can be expensive - like $200!!! We usually fly out of TF Green.

Does anyone know of an inexpensive car service that will take us to Logan from the Sagamore bridge area? I know they have P&B but 4 round trip tickets are not much less than just parking at Logan.

I have the same situation for our April trip, there is a lot 3 miles from Logan that has a shuttle that runs 24/7, my dates end up being $118.45 4/16/11-4/24/11.

We've used PreFlight with good success. If you have an early morning flight, you may want to look into one of the park and fly hotels near Logan. You can get a good night's sleep, get up that morning and take the shuttle over to the airport and leave your car at the hotel. You won't have to get up nearly as early as if you were at home which is a huge plus.

Great recommendation. The flight is at 11am. Is there a hotel you would recommend? I have only flown out of that airport once in my life and it was for work so they provided the transportation.

I would just google park and fly logan and see what comes up. We live just 45 mins from Logan, so we have never had that issue. But, I have heard good reports from others who have done this with good results. Perhaps they can let us know where they stayed.

There is also Logan Express. This is the route we usually take when flying out of Logan and we have never had a problem. We pick it up from Braintree. Parking is $66.00/week or $11.00/day. Round trip fare to Logan is $22.00/adult, children under 12 are free. They will drop you off and pick you up right in front of your terminal. We have never parked our cars there overnight, so I'm unable to comment on that. We usually have someone (my mother) drop us off and pick us up at the Braintree terminal. My mother, who is petrified to drive into Logan, has no problem going to Braintree. Here is the link to the Logan Express website.

I asked the same question last year before our 9 night December trip. We ended up using PreFlight. The shuttles were very prompt and we liked that once you parked, the shuttle comes right to your parking spot to get you. Since it was 11 degrees the morning we left, that was a very nice perk. I would definitely use them again. We tend to fly out of Manchester, NH more than Logan though.

Depending when in December the OP is traveling, and if they do the same thing they did for April vacation (keeping fingers painfully crossed!!!!), parking may be something like $40 for up to two weeks...

I have been using PreFlight for a few years now. I highly recommend them. They have always been at the car by the time we unload luggage and I have never waited more than a few minutes to be picked up upon arrival back at Logan. They then drop you off in front of your car.

They always have a 20% coupon on their website or now you can prepay and save 25%.

We've used Preflight several times, as well. Print the coupon and prepay, if you want the extra savings. One tip...as of last time if you prepay for less days than you end up parking, they will allow you to pay for the remaining days at the same lower rate. The shuttle drivers are good and the lot is safe. Hopefully the bridge construction will be done for this trip, as it was the only slight hold-up last time.
