Transportation to Copper Creek

Sorry if I’m asking this in the wrong forum. We are staying at Copper Creek and my daughter is going to fly down from college a couple days after we get there so looking for the best and safest transportation from MCO for a 19 year old girl traveling alone. She prefers a bus where she is not alone in a vehicle with just a driver. Which is better between Mears and Sunshine Flyer? Or is there another company I should look at? Her flight gets in at 7:30 am so would need a company that starts that early.

Also, how are the sofa beds at Copper Creek? Hoping they aren’t too uncomfortable.

You see good and bad reports for both of the bus services. For both you'll see people saying it's the best thing ever and some telling horror stories of long waits and disorganization. I think it just depends on the day and luck of the draw on how long you'll have to wait, how many stops your bus is making, etc.

The Transportation board has threads on both, no shortage of opinions But I think you can basically flip a coin.

Sofa beds, same thing. Some will say they're fine and some say they wouldn't make their worst enemy sleep on one lol. Personally I think a college age girl for a couple of nights will be just fine.

We've taken both Sunshine Flyer and Mears. I preferred Mears simply from the communication aspect, it was much better.

Coming from the airport we received the QR code to use about 4 hours beforehand (or something like that). It was easy to scan in. They directed us to the correct line and then about 5 minutes later we were in our ride. We arrived super late so we were in a van with a couple of other groups instead of a full bus.

Coming back we got the QR code the day before confirming our time. They also texted shortly before the bus arrived and then again as it entered the property.

Yes, it was received nearly instantaneously.

We had to send our college student daughter alone back to the airport and chose Mears. She also didn’t want to be alone in a vehicle with a driver. We ended up needing to move up the time for her pick up and Mears was great to work with.

We've had good luck with Mears. My son has used both Mears and Sunshine Flyer - way more than my husband and I because we often just drive down. He prefers Mears because they seem to leave MCO faster. With Sunshine Flyer he has had to wait a long time before leaving the airport and then take the grand tour of WDW resorts before getting to ours. He usually is grabbing a late flight from Pittsburgh after work and gets in around 10 PM or so. I don't know if that makes a difference, but he definitely prefers Mears.
