Hi y'all, we are flying into LAX on 7/4 and need a ride (4 of us) from LAX to Best Western Plus Stovall'S Inn. Because we are so close to DL, I'm not renting a car until 7/7. What is the best, cheapest way?
Thanks in advance! Chris

The Disneyland board has a super thread on transportation options. Cheapest kind if depends on how many people are in your group. For one or two people, one of the shuttle vans like Super shuttle is good. For a larger group a taxi van or a rental car may work better.

The shuttle will cost you around $68 each way. We have four traveling as well, and I've priced out most of the options. We'll be using Lansky's, a private car service...it will be $200 r/t but I get a grocery store stop and there won't be any stops at other resorts along the way. With the shuttles, you do make stops at other spots, so it could take you a fair amount of time to get to the Best Western.
SuperShuttle is the company that has been recommended the most to me....by other posters as well as the hotel I'm staying at. I just don't want to mess with a shuttle...I want to get to my hotel, as quickly as possible, without having to pay for a grocery order. By the time I pay for the car service, it's just about the same as what the shuttle would cost, adding the grocery order, and it would take a lot longer to get there.

You could book "Business Express" with Execucar/Supershuttle. You get a dedicated vehicle for up to 4 people for $72 one way.

Probably less expensive and more convenient to rent a car.
Many people hesitate to rent from LAX to get to DL. Why? Traffic is just crazy. Not to mention, most hotels/resorts charge for daily parking.

We went to DL this past Oct. and took the Disneyland Express from the airport to the hotel. If you're not staying on Disney property (Best Western is not) then it can be a really long ride. It seemed like it took forever to get to our hotel and was def. pushing the 2 hr. mark from the time we got on the bus to the time we got off. If we were going back I really think I'd just use a car service (had never used one before, but had to for our return to the airport -early flight) and it was much smoother/quicker/easier than dealing with the bus. At WDW we always use ME, but the DL express is not the same.

This is exactly why we are booking with a car service! We arrive about 2:30ish. It takes close to an hour to get from LAX to DL area...so won't get there until close to 4! If we took one of the shuttles, we might not be there until 5-5:30!!!

depending on arrival time your trip no matter to hotel how you get there can take an hour or more depending on traffic. so be prepared to have longer trip than from MCO to WDW
