transportation to and from Dolphin

This is our first family trip to WDW. We will be going in March and staying at the Dolphin. How long does it really take to get to/from the parks using the buses? Does it really take an hour sometimes? I understand that I can take a boat to MGM and Epcot, but what about BB, MK, AK, DTD?
Also what if I have a reservation to eat at Boma at AKL what is the most efficient way to get there and how long will it take?

The times can be so variable - mostly depending on what time of year/ how crowded it will be. The biggest problem with Dolphin buses is that they make the rounds to BWV, Swan, YC, BC and BCV to and from the parks. Once they've done that they go directly to AK, BB, MK and DTD. If you have a reservation at Boma during a time that AK is still open I would take the bus there and then hop on the AKL bus. If AK is closed at the time I think you have to take a bus to TTC or DTD to get a bus to AKL. You could also take the boat to MGM and get on the AKL bus there. I found that the slowest route was always through DTD when we were there. A taxi is always an option if you'd rather not wait. I would think that to allow an hour is plenty of time and hopefully you'll be there in 1/2 that time (to get to the parks that is, an hour is probably right to do the switch off somewhere to get to another resort)- again, depends on the time of year (I've never been in March) - remember that buses are spaced about 20 mins apart at the resorts- could add more wait time if you just miss one.
