We stayed at CBR for our last (first) trip to WDW and really loved how centrally located it was for getting to the Parks. We want to try something different this time, and are looking at CSR for the Spring of 2012. How long does it take for the buses to get from CSR to each of the Parks? :confused3

We drive to all of the parks. However, since I took over the CSR "unofficial" thread two years ago, my DH and I did take a bus one night to the Magic Kingdom so I had a little more "first hand knowledge" of the buses. We got on at Bus Stop 1 (the last stop picked up) at 5:30 p.m. (we had waited not more than three or four minutes so our timing was very good) and we got to the MK at exactly 5:40. So the MK was ten minutes.

When we drive, it takes us less than five minutes to get to the AK, less than five minutes to the Studios and probably about eight to ten minutes to Epcot.

Thank you! I assume the trips to Epcot, DHS, and AK will take slightly longer by bus than by car (or maybe not since we don't have to park). We don't plan on renting a car since there will be 6 of us and we would have to rent a van to fit 3 car seats. Plus, I love letting Disney drive us around since at home I am normally the Family Chauffeur! :goodvibes

My guess is it would be the same time as the car ride since, as you said, you don't have to park and wait for tram or walk too far to the entrance.

Good luck with your decision.

Stayed at CBR Dec. 2008 and CSR Dec. 2010. Both resorts are centrally located. We experienced slightly longer wait times for the bus to come at CSR, but quicker rides to the parks, so it workded out about the same. Once you leave CSR property its only 5-10 mins to any of the parks except DTD is 15-20 mins. We neglected DHS in 2008 so we spent extra time there in 2010. It was only 5 mins to DHS. If you blinked you would miss the ride. If you use DW transportation these are the 2 best resorts for that.
