Transportation Questions for WLVs & OKW

Hi there...have never stayed at villas at either above resort. Can someone give me an overview of the transportation at each?

Any concerns? I think WLV has boats to Disney....anything else I should know about either or should we expect typical bus transportation...

VWL has a boat to the MK and another boat to Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary. We've had good luck with both the bus and boat service.

OKW has boat transportation to DTT. We had very good bus service there.

We have always thought the OKW bus transportation to be fantastic! The only route that can take a bit longer is the one to AK. That bus stops at Blizzard Beach, so takes a bit longer.

Actually, you'll already be at "Disney" before you leave the villas!

VWL has bus to all locations...though the bus to MK is sometimes discontinued during less crowded times. As noted, the boat runs all year round to MK.

The bus situation at VWL fluctuates...sometimes it is shared with FW and sometimes with Poly/GF. In general, it runs pretty well but the trip to and from DAK can be quite lengthy as it adds a stop both ways at Blizzard Beach.

Old Key West is car-friendly. Wilderness Lodge is not. That would be the key element in a decision by my gang.

Had no problems at either with the bus transportation or boat.
