Transportation question

We're staying at RP during mid-April and we're debating whether to rent a car or not. One of the reasons for renting was to dine out a little cheaper than on-site or at City Walk, but then I read the hotel charges $6 per day to park. Another reason for renting was for transportation to Wet and Wild and also Skull Kingdom. Does the RP have a shuttle? If not, are there other transportation options besides renting a car? Thanks.
