We have DCL transportation booked to take us back to our resort after our cruise. How will we know what time to be off the ship, and be ready for the bus?
This is our first cruise, so thanks in advance for the help!!

You will be assigned a breakfast time based upon if you had early or late dinner seating. Your breakfast will be in the same MDR were assigned to dine at on the last night of your cruise. You take your carry-ons with you to breakfast and then exit the ship from there. Go to baggage claim, then through customs, then follow the masses as they depart for busses going to WDW, MCO, or to private cars.

Those who do express walk off, skip breakfast, and depart the ship as soon as it is cleared by customs.

Very easy procedures and lots of people at the port to assist you.

Yes, Disney makes it very easy to get off the ship and onto the bus for WDW. We need a bus with a wheelchair lift and after we cleared customs, there was a cast member waiting for us to escort us to the correct bus. There are plenty of cast members available if you need assistance. If you have any questions, check with guest services the day before embarkation. Have fun!

Thank you familyoffive, and thumpie's mom for the information, it was very helpful and appreciated!! We are so excited!!!

You don't have an assigned bus when going to wdw. If you want to dawdle (nothing but Shutters is open by the way, no giftshops, and you have to be out of staterooms by 8 if I recall correctly) they will let you know when it's time to leave (9am).

Then do th disembarkation process, tell the people as you exit the building where you are heading, and they'll direct you. Once your bus is full it will leave. When you get to the resort get your luggage (which will have been stowed under the bus) and do the checkin process etc.

Disembarking with Disney in PC is very easy. Once they announce that the ship has been cleared, you may leave the ship. As the pp said, you will be assigned a time for breakfast in the MDR. You can choose to attend that breakfast or not -- you also have the option of eating breakfast at the buffet. DCL just asks that you are out of your cabin by 8am (the crew need all the time they can to turn over all the rooms and be ready for the next sailing at 1:30!).

Once you leave the ship, get your luggage and go through customs, there will be people directing you to the buses. Make sure at least one person has their KTTW card ready so they can see that you purchased transfers. They will direct you to the right bus. The buses to the resorts will drop off at a few resorts. You will wait on the bus until it fills before it leaves. One tip: try not to be the among the last people off the ship -- they will hold the last bus until they can confirm that everyone is off the ship -- we have been left waiting for a long time 30-45 minutes.
