Transportation question for Med Cruise Hotel to ship

I paid for Disney transfers and it was $60 for 2 of us and I was told the pick up time is 11:45 from our hotel which is 9 miles away.

How much would it be to take a taxi?

I also have a check in time for 11:00 and would be late for that.

Anyone who has done the Med Cruise info would be appreciated.

We did the Med. cruise last Sept. (B2B Med/Trans) and stayed at the Renaissance Hotel (DCL designated). All of our travel was arranged by Disney. They took our check-in bags at the hotel, as we boarded the bus, and we didn't see them until we got to our stateroom. I believe we were only three miles away from the Magic and got there in no time. We also got there a bit after our check-in time but the process goes quickly. Did not price out a cab. It would probably be a bit cheaper than the bus we took, but then you have to handle your bags.
On the Med. cruise we took long excursions at every port but still got back in time for our main dining seating. If you expect to do excursions, they can be all-day affairs as most of the sites/cities/ruins are a long way from the ports. Also, because the water was too rough at the Monte Carlo port (a tendering port) we had an "at sea" day that day and docked at Marseilles instead the next day. In three hours they got permission to dock at the new port, set up activities for the unexpected "at sea" day, arranged about a dozen excursions in Marseilles and let everyone on the ship know the new schedule. The mouse is always prepared!!

We've sailed from Barcelona twice. Both times took a cab, price was around 30 euro. Hotel was around 8km from the port. Last sailed in 2014 though so prices may have gone up!!
