Transportation Question 10/15/2013

We are staying at the Boardwalk and will have a car. We have fast pass reservations up until 7:00pm at Epcot and a 9:20 dinner reservations at California Grill and would love to just hop the monorail to the Contemporary for dinner. My issue is that when dinner is over and all parks are closed how will we get back to the boardwalk? Any ideas? Is it an impossibility? Do I need to take the car from Epcot to dinner?

You could walk from Contemporary to MK and take the direct bus to Boardwalk. Will it still be running when you are done with dinner? I think so.

If the Magic Kingdom has been closed for more than an hour (factoring in EMH, if there are any) you will have two options...

• Take a bus from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney and then change to a bus for the Boardwalk.
• Take a cab back to the Boardwalk.

If you'll be drinking at dinner, I would just get a cab back to BW. If not, you may be better off taking your car to Epcot and leaving it there. Then drive to the CR. you could always monorail to the TTC, getting on the resort monorail and get off at the CR. then after dinner take the bus to DTD and transfer to the BW bus. But that takes a fairly long time.
