Hello,

We (my family of 4) are going to WDW in a few weeks. We are spending the first 3 days with In-laws, the last 3 days with my parents, and the middle day all 8 of us are going to Hollywood Studios! We have a mini-van that only seats 7.

We are staying off-site at Wyndham Bonnet Creek which is super close to HS. We'd like to avoid renting a car/paying for two cars to park. Could my DH drop off part of the party and then come back and park with the rest of us? Do they have drop off areas somewhere at HS? Can anyone think of another solution?

Thanks!!

There are guest drop-off areas at all parks. Tell the CM at the parking plaza that you wish to be directed to the drop-off area.

Yes and yes. He'll need to pay for parking once. The first time, he can just tell the parking attendant he's just dropping off. You can also see about transportation for one adult from and to the Wyndham. If available, it'll cost - but not nearly as much as a taxi or rdntal.

Another option, get dropped off at Boardwalk, take the boat to DHS. Will waste a little time while he goes back for the second group. Plus easier getting in and out of Boardwalk than DHS. There is only a 2 lane at DHS parking gate.

This is probably what I would do.

I dropped off my girls quite often.....at DHS after you go through the gate you'll head towards the parking lot where you will come to a deadend and a CM will be pointing you which way to go (right is disabled parking and what used to be AAA parking; left is towards the main parking). Tell this CM you need to drop off (or pick up ) and they'll point you toward the disabled.....a CM near the disable parking will actually have to park in the "gore" near where the cabs wait. You drop off or pick up there, then proceed out of the park.

At MK head for the gate on the far right, proceed like you're going to GF instead of the park.....you will come to a stoplight....turn left and watch for the sign for drop off/pickup....it's where the buses go also.

At EPCOT, just keep telling CMs that you need to drop off, and they'll point you toward the disabled parking....stop there and drop off/pickup and leave.

At AK, same as EPCOT....the CMs will take you to the disabled parking where you drop off and then leave.

They do watch you. I know this because once my daughter couldn't find her AP so we sat there for a while as she went through her backpack, the glove box and whereever else to find it, and a CM came up and told us we couldn't park in the disabled without a plaque. We weren't, but at about that moment she also find her AP so they got out and I left.

ConnieB -

Thanks so much!!! What do you mean by GF at MAgic Kingdom? Does that mean we skip the tram and boat/monorail? Are we better to drop off at a hotel?

GF is the Grand Floridian.
