transportation options--can we beat this estimate?

We plan on arriving on Sat. June 28 and staying by the Port. After our cruise we are going to WDW for 3 nights.
I have an estimate from a car company (which I will not name to see how everyone else has done) for driving from MCO to the hotel, the port to WL, and WL to the airport--$235 for our family of 5.
Is there a cheaper way to go? I don't think we can use DCL unless we stay at the Hyatt MCO--and then we'd be getting to the port a lot later, wouldn't we? I want to be one of the first ones on the ship. Plus with 5 of us DCL adds up, doesn't it?
Anyone had a car co. estimate for this kind of 3 leg trip that was less than $235?

I am not doing the same thing, but I don't know how much better you could get it. At $235, you are talking about roughly $78 per "leg" for 5 people. That's pretty cheap. Don't forget to factor in about 15% for tips, though.

Robin,

The best rate I was quoted for a towncar, MCO to Poly, Poly to the port, the Port to YC, and YC to MCO was $295. So I think what you've got is just about right, as you are one short leg less than we are.

I have a quote of $215 without tip for Mco to port, port to WDW and WDW to Mco.

You either have the best deal possible, at this time, or you're very close to it. It could be that there are better deals out there, but I can't imaging the savings would be more than $20-$30. So, I doubt it's worth your while to keep searching. I suspect your time is worth more than that...

We are leaving later this month and our quote is $205 for MCO to BC, BC to port, port to MCO. This is for a towncar for our family of 4.

Honestly, since your entire trip is only a week long, it would be soooooo much cheaper to rent a car. That would include the$24 or so for parking at the DCL terminal. Just thought I'd offer a different option. :D

and it seems we have at least 1 more stop than you and we are paying for 7 of us (4 adults and 3 kids) from MCO to the Poly, the Poly to the Port, the Port back to POR, Inlaws to another hotel that night (not the POR) and then us 2 days later to the airport and we got a total rate quote of $330.00 which may go down about 30 dollars depending on what the inlaws do with their post cruise 1 night stay! I would think your deal sounds pretty good!

I don't think a car rental would really be cheaper, since we would be there 8 days (Saturday-late Sunday), plus we would be squeezed unless we had a bigger car with the 5 of us.

Hi Robin. We are a family of three. MCO to port. Port to WL. And WL to MCO. $205. This is through Tiffany Towncar

We were there in June and went from MCO to the Beach Club (with a 15 minute stop for groceries), then from Beach Club to port 7 days later and this not so round trip for 5 of us was $170.00.

Since we were flying to the West Coast we had a 5:30 flight out after the cruise and rented a minivan for one day from Avis. We picked it up at the Radisson and returned it to MCO. This allowed us to see the Kennedy Space Center and not waste a day at the airport. You might want to check out renting from Avis and returning the car to the Radisson....
