Transportation issues at the Poly

My wife and I are thinking of staying at the Poly if AP rates ever come out for Sept. The resort looks wonderful and the monorail access would be great. We've seen a lot of bad reports about the bus transportation, though. We go to DTD almost every night and have read about hour long waits to get there or back. We're just wondering if this is an occasional problem, or if the bus transportation is always this bad. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

We worked around the dodgy bus issue by taking the monorail over to the GF and sitting in their wait area for the bus to DTD. It's getting to the AK and DTD that is a main pain. But that said,, they are building a covered wait area for Poly guests as we speak,, I do'nt know when it's to be ready yet tho. I don't know why they have not done this before now. It's a miserable wait for Poly busses with no cover, or place to sit.

Another thing to consider is that the Poly bus is shared with the GF and the Contemporary. We just found it less annoying to sit at the GF waiting area.

Getting to the MK, EPCOT or MGM were no problems.
