Where is this transportation hub that people keep refering to? I am not sure what folks are refering to but I would like to know more about it since I will not be renting a car on my DW vacation. I have read that you can take a shuttle from your resort to it & then catch a shuttle else where...I just wanna know what it is & where I can find more info!

Thank you again!

DTD is considered a hub. But so are the parks. As long as the parks are open, you can go to DTD or the parks and transfer to any other resort. DTD hub is open until 2AM whereas the park "hubs" close about an hour after the parks close.

However, you can go from one park to another, or to resorts. At DTD you can only go to resorts.

As a bit of history, the TTC was considered a hub before MGM was built. That's why is is called the Transportation and Ticket Center.

So, I guess there is no universal hub which can get you ANYWHERE on property.

As a rule of thumb, if you are going from one resort to another, go to the closest park to transfer in order to keep from backtracking.

If you have any specific questions, this is the board to ask them.

Where is the TTC located at? I can't seem to find it on any of the maps I have? Is there a web page or site for the TTC?

The Transportation and Ticket Center is on the opposite side of the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom in between the Contemporary Resort and the Polynesian. It is where the parking lot is for Magic Kingdom day guests, as well as the Monorail transfer to go to Epcot. Day guests purchase their tickets here if they do not have them yet and then move onto either ferry or express monorail to the Magic Kingdom. The three monorails lines meet here (MK resort loop, MK-TTC express, and Epcot) as well as ferry service across the Seven Seas Lagoon to the Magic Kingdom. Bus Service to MGM and Animal Kingdom are also available from the TTC, where as resorts not serviced by either the Monorail or water launch have their bus depot off to the right of the front gate to the Magic Kingdom (i.e. cutting off the travel across the lake). Hope this helps

You can also think of the TTC as a hub for the parks.
