Transportation help needed between Hollywood & Disneyland

We are staying a few days in Hollywood then will head to Disneyland for our 1st trip. Would we be allowed to bring our full size suitcases on the bus? If not, can you recommend another form of transportation that would be economical?

With full sized suitcases I would suggest Amtrak. Take the subway (Red Line) from
Hollywood to Union Station. Perhaps even a taxi - should be about $40. From Anaheim
station the ART stops at most hotels in the area.
