I am not sure what to do about transportation during my trip. (background- flying from MD. Pop Century 9/09/2007-9/15/2007 DCL 9/15/2007-9/22/2007 me,DH,DD4- her 5th bday while there) Anyway, we want to rent a car for the WDW part, and we were going to drive to Port Canaveral and park at the port, then when cruise is over drive back to MCO and return car. It is $84.00 for parking at port, but we can leave items not taking on cruise in car (stroller, suitcases, etc) plus $375.00 from Budget for 2 week rental. Or we could rent from MCO for WDW, return car to Budget at Cape Canaveral, and then get a 1day rental back to MCO. That option seems very complicated, plus we have to take ALL of our stuff onboard- but I think it would end up being about $120.00 cheaper. I don't know what to do.

We are doing WDW before a cruise next summer. We are taking DME from MCO to BW, then renting a car for the drive to Port C. We will turn the car in just before the cruise, then, either rent a car or take the DCL shuttle (about $40 pp) back to MCO. Most likely will rent a car.

You could always ship your excess stuff home from WDW. Or just take DME from MCO to your resort, then rent a car for the drive to port.

That is a great idea to ship items home!! I might have a suitcaseor two to send, but what about our stroller- is there room in our stateroom(cat 12) maybe under the bed??
