Looking for help with transportation from Pop Century resort to the Orange County Convention center in Orlando. Has anyone used Uber or Lfyt from Disney? There are 6 of us that need transportation.

we just took Lyft from the four seasons to the Airport which is a longer drive than the convention center, also we ordered the bigger car, not the standard. Worked great, it was $41 which was $20 less than the taxi we took coming in and a very nice car. Took about 10 minutes to get the car.

We took several lyft and uber trips during our stay, Lyft seemed like they had a lot more cars. The prices in Orlando seemed lower than we get in So Cal.

We were at WDW in October and stayed offsite, we Ubered/Lyfted everywhere, and it was MAGICAL. My DH didn't have to worry about having a drink; we didn't have to park, we were closer to the entrance; the cars were plentiful and nice. We did have to wait a couple of times but only because we needed carseats. The trips were cheaper than parking and better/faster than WDW transport. It's easy to get a larger vehicle too, or just 2 regular ones. Have a great trip.

one night we went to Jelly Rolls and got one from the Yacht club at midnight, they were never waiting at the hotel but would be there in 10 minutes. They have no issue with going to Disney Hotels. They just say ride share and they wave them in. My only complaint was the designated drop off and pickup spot at Disney Springs was a long way from the restaurants.

Where were you staying?

If you're asking me (I don't want to presume); the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. We almost stayed at the 4 Seasons, but the difference in price for a suite we couldn't justify and we're not really going to do 1 hotel room for an entire week with a family of 4. We like to stay up late, and even when the kids were going down at midnight like after the party or a late dinner, we still wanted to have a nightcap and not disturb them. The service we got there was top notch. Very impressed.

Uber or Lyft will be fine for a one-time trip. If you are attending a conference and need to make the trip several times, then I recommend renting a car.
