Transportation from Universal to Port Canaveral

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how much it costs to take a taxi from Universal studios/Hard Rock Hotel to Port Canaveral? We originally planned on renting a car at the hotel but I think it might be too much of a hassle picking up and dropping off the car, driving there, and then needing to take a shuttle. Would rather just have someone drive us and relax. I don't like shared vans because then you have to pick up everybody else and I want to get to the port for my early check in. Thanks for any input!

I'd Google "taxi Orlando" and find a rate finder for the local companies. It's an hour drive so I'd assume it's going to be a hefty fee.

We had a Royal cruise and used the Dis link For fltours.com for a limo. They said we had too many bags for a sedan (but we drive a car just like a town car and out bags for that). We'd go with the SUV in the future.

If you are cruising Royal or Disney, they both have shuttles that leave from the airport. Doubt if the total would be any less than hiring a driver, but you could taxi to the airport and have the shuttle prearranged.

I'd try Tony Hinds at 407-406-9093 for a quote. We use him for MCO to Universal and he's excellent. He says on his website (google Anthony Hinds Orlando) that he can beat the $69 per person shuttle fee to Port Canaveral if you have several people so you might want to give him a call.

Another vote for Tony Hinds...we used him last year and again next week. For 3 transfers MCO to Hardrock / Hardrock to Port Canaveral / Port Canaveral to MCO price is 310 plus tip...
