Transportation from Sanford Airport to Boardwalk

My fiance and I are taking our honeymoon to Disney! Yay! And we are considering using Allegiant Air which only flies into the Sanford Airport. Can anyone recommend transportation from their to the Boardwalk? I would like to surprise my fiance with a limo. Any suggestions would be great!

We decided to rent a car from Alamo and return it to the Dolphin car care center the next day. It's next to the BW. Not as fun as a limo, though.

Unless fares drop from my home airport, I'm thinking about using Allegiant Air from NH in August. I'll be using Sunray Transportation as I always do from MCO.

I'm sure it would be cheaper to rent a car, but the limo company I use for MCO to Disney has a link on their site for reservations from Sanford. I think it's like a 45 minute drive from there to Disney?

Anyway, I have always been very pleased using them from the Orlando airport, I imagine their service is just as good from Sanford

One way is $105 and R/T is $190.

Maybe you could just get the limo for the way to the resort and rent a car for the ride back to the airport?

I didn't think that we would want to rent a car because we are actually staying at the Boardwalk and then going on a Disney cruise. I thought it might be easier to just take Disney transportation to Port Canaveral. Any other thoughts?

If you rent from Alamo or National, you could pick up the car at Sanford airport, and return it the next day at the Dolphin, then just walk back over to the Boardwalk. This would be cheaper than a limo.

ashrenee - Disney doesn't provide transport from Sanford, but I would think that any of the town car companies would be able to accomdate you. Even if their rates don't show it, I would just ask for a quote. My personal favorite is Sunray Transportation. Great service.
