Transportation from Port Canaveral to Resort?

We are staying at Port Orleans (French Quarter) after our 4-day cruise on the Wonder. Has anyone stayed at the resorts after a cruise? Does anyone know how long it takes to travel from the port to the resorts? When should we expect to be checking in at our hotel? Thanks for your help!

Hi and Welcome to the DIS boards. We are staying at WDW before our cruise in August. I am planning on it taking about 50-60 minutes to get from WDW to the port. It depends on how you are planning on doing it though as far as times go. We are renting a car. If you take the DCL bus, it will take longer I believe. If you use a towncar, it should be in the 50-60 range also.

If you take a car service back to WDW from the Disney ship you can be at the resort before 0900. It is about one hour and fifteen minute ride from the ships. If you take a bus it probably would be a little bit longer. Not reallty sure because at the port you would be waiting for a bus to fill up before you can leave.
