Transportation from POFQ to Resort Breakfast

Yay!!! Just found this board! Hope to get a few answers here!

We will be staying at POFQ next June and I want to schedule 3 early breakfasts at various resorts. (Poly, Contemporary, Beach Club) Do the Disney buses run early enough to get me to the closest parks so I can transfer to these resorts for a 7:30am breakfast? I'd book a "late" breakfast and go from the nearest park, but this really isn't fitting into my schedule.

What is the earliest the resort buses start running from POFQ? When does the monorail and the boats begin transporting guests? Thanks!!

Unfortunately, the WDW buses don't run resort-to-resort (unless you're on a bus shared with the 2nd resort). For the Poly and CR, you'd probably need to catch a "breakfast bus" to MK and take the resort monorail to the Poly or CR. For the BC, unless they've changed things since June-04 (and they may have) POFQ and BC share park buses. If one is running at that time, you might be able to take one to the BC (with perhaps a side trip to MK along the way).

The park boats start operation about 30 minutes before the park opens. The resort boat launches and resort monorail start a lot ealier to allow guests transportation for exactly the same reason you're looking for transportation.

It is difficult at best trying to get from resort to resort using the buses. You can always catch a taxi, of course. That's why I don't schedule early breakfasts at any resort other than where I'm staying or in the park I plan on attending that day as long as I get an ADR for 8:00amish so we can be finished by the time the park opens.

There are busses to take guests to the early mnorning character breakfasts.

Here is some information. It is old but still valid.

The busses for the MK area breakfasts start about 6:30AM. Be at the bus stop 45-50 minutes before your ADR. Tell the driver where you are having breakfast. He MAY be able to take you directly there. If not, he will take you to the MK. You can walk to the CR. Or you can then monorail to the CR or the Polynesian. The resort monorail starts at 7:00AM.

For the Beach Club, take the MGM bus (starts about 7AM) and tell the driver you need to go to the BC. He will take you there.
