Transportation from POFQ to DTD westside

Here's the plan...dinner at Planet Hollywood on Halloween night at 5:00pm then walk through Pleasure Island to DTD and take the boat back to POFQ about 9:00pm. DH uses ECV, will we be able to take the boat to from POFQ to westside (I understand we may have to change boats)? What time should we leave the hotel? And can we get to DTD thru Pleasure Island using the ECV? Or should I just bag the plan and take a bus?

Hi babajanet

We're in Madison, AL too! My hubby also uses an ECV at WDW.

There is really no reason to take the boat from one end of DTD to the Westside, especially if your hubby has an ECV. All of Downtown Disney (Marketplace, Pleasure Island, Westside) is right next to each other and a very doable walk/scooter ride.

Just take the boat from POFQ to the Marketplace boat dock and walk/scoot over to Planet Hollywood.

When you have finished dinner, then walk/scooter back over to the Marketplace boat dock.

There is no entrace requirement at Pleasure Island any more to just walk through the street so it is very easy to get through Pleasure Island on the ECV.
