any super shuttle codes or anything else from lgb airport to disneyland and back?

What is the best transportation?

LGB is easy to get in and out of. You could use any transportation you want, including Super Shuttle.

Would not recommend SuperShuttle from LGB, its $35 for first person and $9 additional person, so if there is more than 2 itll be pricier than a taxi. Taxi is $45 which is what we ended up doing last time we were at LGB, and we used Zippy Shuttle to return (private ride, also $45). I liked Zippy better, also taxis going back to the airport dont charge flat rate so you have to ask for it when you order a cab.

Supershuttle is just not competitive from LGB as it is from SNA or LAX.

There were 3 of us last time around, and I think I found a code online, but it still was cheaper with the taxi (and didnt have to share).

I just booked Zippy Shuttle for the 3 of us for our end of February trip- $90 so $45 each way/$15 a person, private shuttle. It was recommended on here. They have been excellent to work with!

It is cheap and easy to use a taxi from the airport. They have a flat fee they can quote you, I think it is around $45. I hear that coming back from the hotel can be more expensive as they can charge what they want. We have always used Super Shuttle to go back to the airport.

looking @ when we go looks like a rental car can be had for 90 bucks

Can anyone help me with the same question for a family of 6 or 8? same airport.

We used a taxi from LGB for 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) in September. They had several taxi vans waiting. It was tight with all the luggage (and we had a lot plus stroller) but we all made it. The cost was $45 plus tip. We also took a taxi from Residents Inn back to LGB. The cost was $55 plus tip. It was very easy and I plan on using a taxi on the next trip.

Isn't there a metro link now there too? You can also take the bus after getting out of LBG.

That might be a good idea if you don't mind driving, with the additional advantage that you can stop and get groceries, and you have a place to leave your bags the last day if you hotel checkout is before your flight. Though you'll have to pay for filling gas and taxes, and it'll take a little bit of time to do paperwork. Just make sure to check if your hotel charges for parking.

I just got a quote from zippy and for round trip its 90 bucks its not bad but a rent a car same price really is a no brainer.

I can book the car through alamo so i may end up using priceline and lowball to see if i can it at a screaming deal.

Hotel we are gonna stay at is anaheim plaza hotel and looks like they charge 4 bucks parking a day. for 59 bucks a night to sleep and shower ill take it gonna open and close the park the 3 days we are there so hotel i could care less about.

I did a lot of research on this topic. It sounds like 3 people and under, it is cheapest to do the shuttle from LGB to Disneyland. If more than 3 people, a shuttle will cost upwards of $60 so a taxi is cheaper (costing somewhere around $50).

I will be taking a taxi tomorrow (Mar 15) mid day so I will report back on the cost when I get a chance.

try hotwire for a rent a car

Does anyone know if stops are allowed with a flat rate taxi? We are going from LGB to HoJo and I would love to do a quick stop at either target or a grocery store to pick up a few groceries like milk and bananas:banana:....
I know shuttles don't allow for this but an unsure if a flat rate taxi would?? I would like to get it done on the way in so once at the hotel we don't have to venture back out...

I live in Anaheim and work in Long Beach. I drive by Disneyland and the airport on the way to work. If the scheduling works out, I wouldn't mind giving someone a lift.

I am wondering the same thing. We are flying into LGB in November. Usually my husband joins us and we rent a car but he can't go this trip. It's just me and my daughter and I don't want to have to worry about a car and pumping my own gas (we live in Oregon). I am hoping it is less expensive to take a taxi (or perhaps Zippy) than to rent a car.
