Transportation from LAX?

I apologize if this is a frequently asked question - I've tried to search the forum with no luck!

I understand there are two primary ways of getting to/from LAX/Disneyland - the Super Shuttle and the Disneyland Resort Express Bus. Any suggestions/recommendations of the two?

I don't have too much experience with either, but my daughter liked the Disneyland Express bus better than the Super Shuttle. Typically we have enough people to make renting a car or minivan more cost effective.

I've only used Super Shutle, it has it's good and bad.
The real problem is if your flight arrives late at night, you may get stuck with lots of locals going home too.

The grand circle tour takes on new meaning when it's 2 am and you are STILL not at your hotel because they crammed every available seat and now you are dropping people off in every town of Orange County between LAX and Anaheim.

The ride back to the airport is nice, typically speedy and not as crowded.

If you have 5 or more pople in your group.. consider paying a bit more for "exclusive service" which is a non shared ride. No stopping and zoooooooom straight to the fun!

You don't need reservations picking up from LAX. After picking up luggage, walk out to the middle island and find someone in a blue shirt with a clipboard. For the way back, call to schedule the night before.. or you can reserve online in advance (and pay in advance.. one less thing to remember).

We have always taken the DL Express when flying into LAX because of fear of what the above poster noted. It is reliable, on time, no issues and there is a bathroom on the bus which when you have littles ones, becomes a very important and necessary feature.
