Are there direct busses to Epcot , MGM and Animal Kingdom from Fort Wilderness, or do we have to transfer at the TTC? Most of the books I have read say that if we are staying there, we should have our own car because transportation is confusing and long. Thanks!

You must take an internal bus to either the Settelment - to catch boat to MK or bus to MGM, or take an internal bus to Outpost to transfer to another bus to Epcot, AK or DTD.

We stayed in the cabins and drove to the parks, with the exception of MK. We had all the kids and two strollers to lug around. I must say that the internal bus system was great.

The only time the wait gets longer is in the evenings around Hoop-Dee-Doo show times, due to higher volume of people on buses and boats going to the show.

We never had a long wait to catch a boat to MK, and we also took boat to Contmeporary for PS at Chef Mickeys.

We never used anything but Disney transportation! That's one of the best things about staying on site! You just park your rig & never have to drive again until you leave! There are a few times you have to transfer but it's very easy.

Wooooo hooooo we leave in 2 weeks!!!!!!:hyper: :wave2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Fort Wilderness has two main bus depots. The depot at the Outpost has direct buses to DD and TL, AK and BB, and EPCOT. The Settlement depot has a direct bus to MGM. No transfers at TTC anymore!

We never had a long wait for any of the buses. I like what they've done with the buses now better than ever!!
