transportation from Disney Resort to Outlet

Anybody have an idea how much it would cost to take a cab or shuttle to the nearest outlet? How many outlets are near WDW?

There are many outlets near WDW. The closest outlet mall is Orlando Premium Outlets. There is a Character Premier (discount genuine Disney merchandise) there. You didn't say what resort. That will make a difference in cost. I'm going to guess, from a MK resort that the fare is going to be around $28.00 + tip each way. I say this because the fare from BW to GF is right around $13.00 and the trip is 5 miles. The distance from the GF to the outlets is 11 miles.

You may want to consider taking the Lynx bus. It's $1.25 each way and the bus you want is the #50 bus which you pickup at the TTC. That bus runs about every 1/2 hour from 6am to 10pm.

I was looking for this info also. Do the Lynx busses run from DTD? Or do you know how much a taxi would be from DTD to the Orlando Premium outlets? Thanks!

Thats for some information. My wife and I will be staying at the BCV. She loves to go outlet shopping and the last time we where at WDW we did not get a chance to go shopping. Also, we rented a car the last time we were in town. Anyways, trying to make something special happen for my wife.

The only Lynx buses from DTD is the commuter buses 300/301. These only run one time in the AM and one time in the PM.

They won't get you to the outlets. You have got to go to the TTC to get off property conveniently.

Taxi from DTD is probably in the $10 to $15 range.
