What is the fastest way to get from the Amtrak station to Disneyland?

What is the cheapest?

I noticed that ART has dedicated buses. How often do they run?

The Anaheim station near the Angels stadium?

I took a cab. By meter, to DLH, it was $13. If dropped at the main entrance on Harbor, it would have been about $10 by the meter.

I'm taking the Amtrak train up from San Diego, so not sure where the station is.

Well sometimes people take Amtrak to LA, but coming from SD I doubt you'll do that. :) The Anaheim station is pretty much in the Angels parking lot, LOL. It looks desolate and scary (especially when you're me, alone, very early in the morning after catching the first train from San Diego), but you just follow the arrows, go under the track in a short tunnel, and suddenly you're in civilization. Er, parking lot civilization, but at least there are people.

There were cabs waiting.

I know nothing about ART, I figured that cab waiting there was good enough.

The fastest way would be by cab. There is an ART route (Number 15) that serves the Anaheim Amtrak Station. You can check their schedule on line.

The rate for the cab service, will depend upon the route they take, and traffic conditions as well. For one also pays for the time that is spent at stop signs, red lights and traffic. I had paid almost $17.00 to my property on West Ball rd., that was during commute time. Upon my return Friday late morning, the charge was less than $12.00. ART would be far less, however depending upon your destination the trip might or might not be direct. As a result, it will take longer for you to travel from point A to point B. Not to mention the wait time for ART to begin with. To where as there will be a nice line of cabs, just waiting for you, right outside of the station.

I've taken Amtrak to Anaheim from San Diego a few times. They'll let you know when the Angel stadium/Disneyland station is approaching. I always take a cab, the ART takes way too long and is inconsistent. The fare is about $11-17, depending on where your hotel is.

ART is your best bet... I took the Amtrak down from SB last year and it was great. Well, ehh...

We came into Fullerton and it was a quick cab ride to DLR. We had packed a cab and a van, so couldn't tell you what just one person in a cab would be.

I know that super shuttle takes guests from hotel to amtrak station. I shared my return ride on super shuttle with a lady that was going to train station, not airport. I guess this means they would also pick you up from there. I would call and see for sure. I wonder if Taxi would compare in price to other forms of train - DL transportation?
