Does anyone have any information on the most affordable transportation from the airport to the Pop Century Resort hotel. There are only 2 of us arriving Feb. 15, 2005. Is there a shuttle or is a Taxi a better idea? Anyone know any prices for these?

You might want to post this on the transportation board. Or you can read the previous posts there.

Thanks for the information. I am new at this and haven't found all the right places for all my questions.
Again, thanks for the help

There are a couple of different Town Car services that will pick you up, stop at a grocery store, drop you at WDW and then pick you up and take you back to the airport for around $110, not including tip.

We've done this every time we fly and it is so much better than a shuttle bus which stops at multiple resorts and is packed with people.

And it's kind of neat to see someone waiting in the luggage claim area with your name on a sign waiting to pick you up.

We've used Tiffany Towncar and Florida Towncar and had good luck with each.

There are shuttles (Mears) for about $25 per person round trip, but they make multiple stops any yours might be last. Also, they probably won't drive off the minute you get on. There are towncar companies, I've used and recommend Tiffany TownCar, for $95 rt for however many are in the car plus tip. I think they have a coupon on their web site that gets it down to $95. A taxi rt wouldn't be much less so it's Mears if saving $50 is worth a longer, stop filled ride, or a TownCar if pickup and dropoff on your terms is worth the $50. Also a TC will give you a 20 -30 minute grocery stop if you want some goodies for your stay.

We just got back from WDW. We used MH Transportation. $80 to and from and it was great! Would highly recommend it!

We have used these guys our last five trips and they are the best. Our kids love them. Round trip for up to 10 people is $90. They have both a van and a town car. Will make grocery stop and meet you at the baggage claim with a sign with your name on it. You can reach them at transportation2disney.com. Don't recommend the shuttle. Stops at every resort and cost is silly. Always fly direct!

WE always used Mears shuttle. It's cheap, we can arrange for it with our package, and we are so excited to get to the resort we dont mind being on a bus.

If you want cheap use Mears. I would hesitate using a taxi as you won't know the price until the end. Price can very with traffic ect. As others have posted we use Murray Hill too. We just got back last month and used MH to Pop @ $80 and a store stop. www.transportation2disney.com
