Transportation ? for WL

Just booked a week at WL and was wondering about the reliability of the bus transportation. Some friends indicated that the bus service to/from this particular resort seemed limited and we could have a problem getting around DW? Has anyone stayed at the WL during peak season and had a negative experience with the bus transportation? I hope I didn't make a mistake. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

Dont worry. we have never had any trouble with the WL transportation. You might wait 15 to 20 minutes sometimes, but it is not a big deal. It is a wonderful resort. Have fun and dont worry

Whenever we could, we took the boat to Contemporary then use the Monorail. We found this a much more pleasant way to travel. If the Monorail (either direct or through TTC) didn't go there, we drove our rental.

We've had good and bad experiences with transportation at most resorts. I chuck it up to luck and timing sometimes. My worst experience was Dixie Landings. Most other resorts weren't too bad including WL. Allow yourself time to and from the parks and don't rush. It's a vacation after all!!

When we visted last summer, we found that it was faster to get to DTD by taking the TTC bus, then walking to the Poly and getting their bus. Other than that, we never really waited longer for a bus at WL than at any other resort. And the resort itself is really nice - you won't be disappointed.

I agree that WL doesn't have transportation "issues" in general... no more so than any other resort. However, I second the WL to DTD comment. Last June we went to PI and it took us over 45 minutes to go door-to-door... and we only had to wait about 5 minutes for the bus at WL.

We were there a week last Sept. We had no problem with transportation. There are many different choices. We never waited more than 10 minutes for anything.

Large boat, WL/FW/MK
Small boat, WL/FW/CR (7am - 10pm)
bus to TTC & FW (I believe)
busses everywhere else

You can take the bus to the TTC & walk to the Poly.

You can take the small boat to CR & take the Monorail.
