Transportation for group of 11

I have requested a Van pick up for our group to take us to Pop. I'm just a little concerned about getting all of us and our luggage from the airport to Pop. There is 6 adults 4 kids 9,4, 2-6 year olds and an infant in a car seat. Has anyone had any experience with large groups and how they fared w/a large group and luggage.

This is kind of funny because you just answered my question! We didn't actually have a van pick-up but we did rent one on our last trip for our party of 11. Do you know what kind of vehicle they will be using? We rented a 15-passenger van. We figured with 11 people and luggage that a 12-passenger wouldn't be big enough. If it is a 15-passenger van I think you'll be all set. We had plenty of room for the people and bags. Everyone each had a suitcase and a carry-on.

we did a family reunion of 20 at wdw back in 2000, we booked 2 vans through mears transportation in orlando over the phone for 17 of us, they met us at baggage claim with a sign "_ family", the 2 drivers had those luggage carriers all ready, grabbed all our luggage it least 20 peices of more & went straight to the wdw resort, no problems.

As others have mentioned, make let the transportation company know you will have tons of luggage. When I was at Pop, I'd often see the 12 passenger vans show up with a u-haul trailer for the luggage. Seemed to work well.

We will be going in April just before the complimentary transportation starts. I have booked with Murray Hill. We used them the last time but we only needed a town car then.

I am assuming it is a 15 passenger van as there website states they can carry 14 people with no luggage and 10 people with luggage. Since we have a time to go before the trip it's hard to tell how much luggage we will have. I know all the children will have a carry on. Even the infant will have a diaper bag. The family with the infant will have the most luggage because of all the extra stuff you have to bring for a baby. Probably 3 or 4 pieces of luggage for them. The other family will have 3 pieces I think and we will have 2. So about 9 pieces I'm guessing. Plus the carry on's. I figure if we have to everyone can just hold there carry on's on there lap. We are also going to make a store stop. So we will have some grocery bags to carry also. I'm thinking maybe some luggage can be put under the kids feet on the floor. Since several of there feet don't even reach that far.

I'm getting anxious, can you tell?
