Need more opinions. I think I have narrowed it down to these two companies. If you have any experiences with these guys, please comment. Thanks!

We used Tiffany Towncar from the airport to the Radisson and they were very good. We were a party of 7 and used one of their vans as service. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We've used Tiffany many, many trips. We even have a favorite driver -- Berkeley -- he drives the van. One year he took us from Orlando to Vero Beach and then came back to Vero to take us to the airport. He picks us up every year ...and even when we don't need the van ...he is so good we pay for the van! Haven't used Fl Tours but I've read good things about them.

We can definitely recommend Berkeley and Tiffany. Even when they messed up they went way beyond to make it right!

FL Tours is excellent, and I definitely recommend them. I have used them a number of times and once when my daughter left her game boy in the van on the way back to the hotel from the port Andy, the owner, took care of boxing it up and mailing it back to her at home.

I have used Florida Tours the last three years or so. I always receive excellent service.

This last spring Florida Tours was also taking our group of 4 to Seaworld from the Boardwalk. I forgot all of our e-tickets in the vault in the room. I remembered when we hit I-4; probably almost to Seaword. The driver was very gracious and immediately took us back to the Boardwalk to pick-up the tickets. No extra charge. I did however thank him and doubled my regular tip.

Our driver was wonderful with us and did not ask for any extra consideration. So, I would not hesitate to recommend them to you.

We always use Tiffany towncars and have had very good service. They have always been waiting at the airport and always on time for pick ups. This trip we have two very good drivers - Berkely and Abbas. Can't say enough good things about Tiffany and we were very nervous using them this time with all the talk of the ownership changes. Top notch service.

We have used FL Tours 2 times and have resserved them for our Thanksgiving trip. They are wonderful!!! Very professional and prompt. They take my worries of transfers away!

I've used both and liked Tiffany a little bit better. I just felt that the customer service and help with luggage was a little better. Both were very good, though.

This time I'm using DME. Hope it works just as good!

:rolleyes1

Have used both in the past..definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND FL TOURS. Was extremely disappointed in lack of customer service and dishonesty from Andy...he insisted our flight was late and that is why they could not stop at the grocery store as requested. Called the airline to verify what we knew...plane landed 3 minutes late. They had poor scheduling. Never had any complaints with Tiffany and will use them again. We tried FL Tours because of their support of these boards and will never make that mistake again.

We have used both and give the edge to Tiffany Towncar.

We have used Tiffany 4 times and always on time. On our honeymoon they took us airport to Port Canaveral; Port Canaveral to Universal; Universal to Disney; and Disney to Airport and were on time each leg. Our December flight was delayed by snow in PA for almost 3 hours, and our driver was there and waiting. Some of our drivers haven't been the friendliest, but we don't really like when they talk to us too much. All have been courteous and helpful with luggage though, and vehicles have been clean and well maintained. We have never had a problem having a grocery stop, even the trip when we came in 3 hours late.

We used Fl Tours on our last trip. The service was ok, nothing terrible but it wasn't spectacular. Our driver wasn't waiting for us at baggage claim, and we had to search for him. I was almost ready to call when my husband found him. He wasn't very helpful with our baggage, but their were six of us (and luggage) so he could only take a few of the bags. Our flight was about 20 minutes late, and he kind of gave us a hard time about stopping at the store until we assured him we would be quick. We flew through the store! There was no way we weren't having a grocery stop with 6 people staying in a DVC villa and I would have fought that one tooth and nail! Return trip to the airport was fine.

All in all, we would probably use Tiffany over Fl. Tours. We tried them because they are board sponsers, but we feel we got better service (and a guaranteed grocery stop) with Tiffany.

We have used Tiffany twice, once with a car and once with a van and we had no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. One hitch was than on our return to the airport they didn't have a van and showed up with a giant stretch limo. It was tough getting the luggage in but the kids thought it was awesome riding in the limo...if the kids are happy I am happy!!

Wow, it's funny that some of you have had exactly the same experiences I did with FL Tours. I had been happy with Tiffany but since FL Tours is a board sponser, figured I would like to give them the business. So, we booked them for two different trips. First one was in Aug '04. We had to search for our driver when we got to the baggage area. But after about 8 minutes dh finally found him. We had been used to seeing our driver as we come down the escalator. Hmmm. The trip to CR was fine. But when we were to leave BWV at the end of the trip..once again, dh had to go searching for the driver. We had waited for about 15 right at the time we were told to be in the portico area of BW, but driver was way down the driveway, just sitting there.

Then when we used them last Nov for our THanksgiving trip, we had asked for a grocery store stop since we were going directly to BWV. I had mentioned when I booked that I realized it was Thanksgiving day and that a regular grocery store might not be open but a convenience store would do. So, we arrived at noon and were told that no stores were open..sorry. I wish I had known so that I could have shipped what I needed to the resort. But I had been told it wouldn't be an issue. At least the driver was there to greet us at the escalator this time..but no grocery stop really irked me.

When we used Tiffany, and we did about 3 or 4 times, we never had any issues. In fact, the first time we used them we had flown into Sanford and had requested a quick grocery stop for snacks and wine. Our flight was about 2 hrs. late due to weather. Our driver told us he couldn't stop at a regular grocery store but how about a convenience store? He said he could wait about 15 minutes...dh's didn't even get out...just the two wives. Bought our chip, wine, cheese and water and off we went. That meant a great deal to us...we knew we had put him way behind schedule but he still squeezed in time to make a quick stop. Wish he was still driving but he isn't.

I'm just glad DME is working so well for me...used it twice and will be using it two more times before the 'big party' ends in late '06!!!

We've only used Tiffany for our many trips. They have always been great in service and their drivers. This past July, our flight from DFW was 3 hours late getting off. I called TTC and let them know. Their reply was ,"no problem, we'll see you when you get there.", and sure enough, they were there to greet us. They are an excellent company to deal with. I've already placed our reservation for next July's trip with them.

We have used Tiffany in the past, and depending on how much I like DME this trip out, it is very possible we'll use Tiffany again. The driver upon pickup was always very visible, and helpful with the bags, and stopped at the grocery store with no problem...even helping us load the groceries! We had a small problem with the pickup from the resort...the towncar didn't show when promised...but Bell services called them for us, and they showed up shortly thereafter, so all was well, with plenty of time to spare.

One reason I would choose Tiffany over Fl Tours is that you can use a charge card for Tiffany while Fl Tours only takes cash. I like the idea that if something were to go wrong I could stop the credit card charge. You have no such protection when you pay cash.
Also, we have been very happy with Tiffany over the past years. On a recommendation from someone at work we used Prestige Town cars in June and they were really great and cheaper than most. Prestige and Tiffany are now owned by the same people. I realized that when our car came to pick us up and had a Tiffany plate on the front. Also the charge came through as Tiffany. No matter, I was very pleased with Prestige in June and would use either....Although I guess they would drop one and just stick with one name.
